About the Author

My name is Charlie and I began writing this blog as a way to share and record my experiences foraging, fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, backpacking, and pursuing other outdoor adventures. I focus mostly on the Central California region because San Francisco is where I live and breathe. I am a Dolphin Club member, an Eagle Scout, and a seasoned traveler. My occupation revolves around the maintenance and renovation of investment properties and although it doesn’t compare to swimming in the bay or diving for abalone it pays the bills, allows me to develop other skill sets, and provides me ample free time.
